I mend a glass that is broken and showed it to everyone and they thought it’s new. But I know it’s broken and no matter how I tried to forget about it I still know that it’s a broken glass. No matter what I do to hide it, I still see the places I’ve mended.

I picked up broken pieces of my heart and put them together and told my self that it is as good as it used to be. But inside I know that I’m lying to my self. What is broken is broken.

If I glue it and somehow put all the pieces together, then there is a possibility of breaking it again. But if I leave it broken as it is, then no one else can break it again ever.

I would rather remember it as it was at its best, than glue it and keep on seeing the broken places for the rest of my life.
